My buddy Kevin just won San Diego's District 2 City Council seat.

I sat in Faulconer's office a few years ago after he narrowly lost in the same District. We talked about how he'd win at some point. I always knew he would.

Just what the Council needs is a guy, a PR exec., someone with a clear sense of the community, what's possible, what's realistic. Faulconer is sharp. He's honest. I'm excited for him and for the District.

Congratulations, Big Guy. You're going to a very welcome change, after the last guy, that slug Mike Zucchet. I'm proud of you.
